“Alive” is a song recorded by Austraian electronic band Empire of the Sun formed by Luke Steele of alternative rock act The Sleepy Jackson, and Nick Littlemore of electronic dance outfit Pnau. They are ready to bring back the good music in our lives. The track is confirmed as the lead single from their highly-awaited sophomore studio album after the success of the debut “Walking on a Dream” released in 2008. The new album entitled “Ice on the Dune” is scheduled for release on digital retailers on June 18, 2013 via EMI Records Australia.

The single was released on iTunes on April 15th, 2013 and is scheduled for release in British market on June 3rd, 2013. The music video was premiered on VEVO on April 29.
